Erases very wellI recently purchased this white board for my niece to help with her handwriting. After reading other reviews, I admit to being skeptical but was low on funds and time as she needed the board for online classes. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised as it was similar in size to her original white board. We've used different color markers, all of which have erased with ease and without residual effects. I did cut the clip off from the top as it was in the way, but aside from that, the white board is great. The marker was dried out an unusable so I ended up having to buy a pack of markers to use it. The board is very thick and looks like it will hold up for a while. My daughter really likes the little square eraser to clean her board when she is done. The two sides were already separating, and one of the two plastic loops to hold the pen was incorrectly installed (and actually looks a little burnt). It was inexpensive, and part of the lined section is still usable, so I gave it two stars for value. I would not buy this againI wanted a lined dry erase board to help my daughter when practicing her writing skills and virtual classroom work. I wish I could say that this was a good purchase but I am extremely disappointed with this product. As soon as I opened it, I knew this was not what I had hoped for. The board is extremely thin, one corner was bent and there are plastic pieces that make the top line unusable. I started the return process but apparently this item is not returnable. Since I was now stuck with it, I tried to make it work by removing the plastic loops and clips from the top, that helped but it’s still annoying that there are metal holders that still get in the way of the top line. No matter how well you erase, you can still see what was written before. We tried different dry erase markers and erasers, but you still see the faint lettering left behind. So far a magic eraser is the only thing that works the best. Save your money and look for one that will better accommodate your needs. This was a perfect fit for my elementary age granddaughters to use during virtual school year 2020-2021.The ink from the markers is a bit tough to get off. Also, mine was a bit bent when it showed up.There is a pen pictured on the product, but it came without one. No matter, not like dry erase markers are too expensive.Anyway, I use this with my children to help with reading and writing lessons. One side is lined for Preschool/Kindergarten children to practice writing letters and the other side is blank for drawing pictures as a fun reward after writing. We use it a lot and although the dry erase comes off easily, it sometimes stains a light gray. After multiple uses, the edges of the board softened and have started to split, but it's minor. I wasn't expecting a fancy chipboard for the price, and it does what I need it to do.Disappointing! The board came with a silly clip that took up a section of the board members you loose part of the top line. It's thin and flimsy and there is writing on the last line so you loose tht too! Not impressed. The item was also not as pictured and had two plastic loops bolted through the top of the board. Worse, the board arrived with a spiral twist in the middle, which caused the board to split after applying very slight pressure to see if it could twist back (see attached picture). Also, the dry erase marker was dried out, and the bottom of the eraser slightly tore when pulling it away from the double-sided tape used to hold it to the paper. I know this is not an expensive item, but the entire thing has to go in the garbage bin. What a waste! The only positive was Amazon's excellent customer service.Good quality for the price. I'm a software developer and I use it at my desk for scribbling random bits of information I need to remember for a short time or for figuring out complex bits of logic. The concept of the board is an amazing idea, but it is poorly made.
