Edited review: After several months of not being able to use the board, I finally just gave it away. Customer service contacted me a long while after my original order and said they were sorry it took them so long to respond and that they would love to send me a new board, free of charge. I excepted it, although I was a little skeptical. I found the new board easy to assemble and all the holes were drilled properly making it sturdier than the previous one. It’s still a little wobbly and not as strong as I would have liked, hence the four-star review. But since I put it together a few days ago I have used it every day without any problem. Considering the price, I would recommend this product if you need a mobile dry erase board. I find the flip feature especially handy.After waiting many weeks for this product to be delivered, I was quite disappointed to find that the holes don’t match up, the screws easily stripped, and once put together was very flimsy. This makes it difficult to move without it falling apart. Don’t waste your money on this an expensive whiteboard. You get what you pay for.Easy to put together. Sturdy enough. The hangers and the big paper notepad are a bit weird, but otherwise everything fits together well. I really like the way the board flips over. Be aware that it is just held in by gravity, so don’t try to pick it up by holding onto the board.The wheels didn’t last long (hence the need to lift it). They’re cheap plastic and just snap off the spindle they’re attached to.I replaced all 4 with some non-locking casters mafe of steel and PVC (like on a scooter or rollerblades) and have had zero issues. they were a direct replacement - just screwed right in.If the manufacturer/seller reads these things, the nice wheels cost me $2 apiece, so I’m sure you could include them for even cheaper and make this a perfect light-duty mobile whiteboard.Just finished assembling this white board and for someone that can’t put anything together to save her life, I’m jumping for joy over how easy this was! Great, sturdy white board with a great turning radius to flip over. Will buy again for sure!The board that I received was a Maxtek Dry Erase Board, 40" x 24". I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. It arrived in one flat box, and was reasonably packaged to prevent damage from normal handling. My product arrived in perfect condition. The directions to assemble were some of the best that I have seen coming from a Chinese manufacturer. It took me about 15 minutes to put the stand together -- it would have been quicker with a friend. The board itself has a smooth glossy finish, and it erases completely without any residue left behind. I did prime the surface with Expo whiteboard cleaner before using. The board rotates easily and locks into position at the bottom with a spring-loaded clip. The board came with several magnetic buttons and with markers and a magnetically held eraser.It's a great product that does what it should. However, this is NOT IKEA. If you purchased this thinking it would be easy to assemble, you might be easily mistaken. The holes on the supporting beams were not big enough to get the bolts through. I saw a small handful of reviews that mentioned this and unfortunately I experienced the very thing those reviews mentioned.In order to get the bolts through I had to drill through the holes to widen them just a smidge. This worked perfectly and after I did this assembly was cake.For the bolt hole on the very bottom left (the piece the wheels plug into) I used a 3/8 drill bit. I only had to do this on the bottom left side. All the other holes I had to drill through I used a 5/16 drill bit. Use your judgement and be careful. Assembling this thing won't defeat us!TLDR:Nice whiteboard; not the best build quality.The product all round is excellent, better than expected. Unfortunately, when it first arrived, one side of the whiteboard had a small dent. This clearly happened during delivery as the packaging is robust and neat. I contacted Maxtek about the issue, and within 30 hours they had delivered a new whiteboard, this was an excellent service which has now made me a loyal customer. I fully recommend the product and the company. Thank youI googled loads of white boards and they are so expensive! This one was affordable and I can’t fault it - ok there was a small scratch on one side but not worth complaining about - it’s smooth to write on - its brilliantly magnetic- it’s easily cleaned so far no pen residue and its easily moved. Overall would definitely not hesitate to buy it again if I ever needed another one!Outstanding item. Packaging exceptional, postage time very good, quality of build really outstanding. We are teachers and use a great many white boards and this one (which is for home tutoring use) is a fantastic item. Easy to assemble and great design matched by quality build. The only negative was that the 3 pens that came with the item were past their best and were very light and difficult to read. We contacted company who promised to send us new pens. Many thanksI needed this whiteboard as a final year student writing a dissertation to map out all my ideas! And it is absolutely perfect and everything I expected. The markers that come with it are easily wiped away without leaving any marks. I am 5ft3 so I did have worries about the height and if i would be able to access the full dimensions of the board, however, i am able to reach every inch of the board comfortably. There was a little dent on one side of the board, however it goes much unnoticed, so I cannot really complain.Excellent product. Love the fact it is free standing. Easy to assemble. Good size for teaching. Smooth to write on. Rotation and locking mechanism working well and scure so far, though only had it for 2 weeks. But overall happy with my purchase and would recommend.
